The canal area : brochure with layered maps
A project during my 3 month internship at Sign* Brussels. The brochure was made in 3 languages and destined to investors willing to invest in a economical area in Brussels. When we suggested the idea of using tracing paper to make multi layer maps, the client decided to completely change the order of the content on the brochure in order to fully benefit from this medium. The tracing paper allow to clearly promote different aspects of the area, without confusing the reader. The brochure contain a folded map at the end, that synthesize all this information. It really was a technical challenge since printing on tracing paper takes a long time to dry (it took 3 days of drying)
